Victoria Crowned Pigeon

Beautifully mounted Victoria crowned pigeon (Goura Victoria) specimen. This bird is a large, bluish-grey pigeon with elegant blue lace-like crests, maroon breast, and red irises. Its name commemorates the British monarch Queen Victoria. Their feathers were often used for decoration on hats in the late 19th century.
