Plate or bed of well-preserved fossilized sea urchins (Echinoids) (Tripneustes parkinsoni) from the Miocene age (15-18 Million years old). Found in Lacoste, France. Vertically mounted on a freestanding, black-painted metal base. Metal supports on the back of the piece also allow it to be wall-mounted. Weighs over 250 lbs.
